Young Lights

‘Pills’ — Novo single!

Pills

‘Pills’, o quarto single do próximo disco da banda, mostra o lado A do novo trabalho que sairá ainda este ano, o álbum ‘Somewhere Between Here and Now’. EN ‘Pills’, forth single of the band's next full-length, is part of the A Side of their new album to be released later this year entitled ‘Somewhere Between Here and Now’. A narrative full of anxiety and pain leading to a moment of overcoming and optimism (“We'll all be alright”). Composed in a serene manner, with guitar effects and striking riffs, dominating bass and drums and a sober voice singing about getting drunk. ‘Pills’ is, without a doubt, a promisse of the maturity of the bands next work.

Young Lights

EN Initially the lead singer, Jay Horsth’s solo project, created when he moved to Brazil after living in the U.S. until his teenage years, Young Lights took folk and alternative rock as the basis for its sound. At the end of 2017 they released a self-titled album ‘Young Lights’, elected as one of the best of the year by brazilian specialized media such as Popload and Tenho Mais Discos Que Amigos. After playing festivals all over Brazil, the band is in the process of finalizing their next full album titled “Somewhere Between Here and Now” recorded with the support of fans through crowdfuning and Lab Oi Futuro (Rio de Janeiro). Produced by Bruno Giorgi (Baleia, Lenine) and Gabriel Ventura (Ventre), the album initiates the band’s new phase based on a closer musical relationship to 90’s and early 2000 indie and alternative rock experimentation without losing the band's characteristic melodies.
